Update 15 Early Access
Update 15 marks an important step in this game's development, where damage is done differently. Collision damage is handled in a less severe way (that still needs to be tuned), explosions now have Line of sight checks on them, and most importantly, where you shoot enemies matters. Headshots instantly kill most foes. There's also various UI additions and adjustments.
"Sacrilege", a Halo fan-game, is an Open-source, free shooter that aims to offer a wide variety of gamemodes, weapons, vehicles, enemies, and more.
Lead your allies
Utilize the command feature that blends the boundaries between FPS and RTS to lead your allies to advantageous positions, pilot vehicles, attack and hold areas, and more. Commands allow you to work alongside your NPC allies and utilize them how you wish.
Bountiful allies and enemies
Fight alongside or against a diverse cast of units, each with unique behaviors. The cast includes units such as the Grunts, the Covenant's fodder, the Elites, enemies capable of aggresive and intelligent positioning, and the Flood, who are capable of reanimating corpses for their own purposes.
A Powerful Armory
Fight your foes with classic UNSC weapons such as the Assault Rifle, Battle Rifle, Sniper Rifle, and more, or defeat them and wield covenant weapons such as the Carbine, Needler, Plasma Rifle, and more. Perhaps you will find remnants of Forerunner technology, such as the Forerunner Gravity Manipulator, capable of picking up objects and placing them or launching them.
Vehicle Mayhem
Drive a wide variety of vehicle options, such as Warthogs, Ghosts, Scorpions, Spectres, Mongooses, and more. Vehicle gameplay is a core pillar of Sacrilege, so expect to pilot and fight against many different kinds.
Sandbox of Chaos
Use your map knowledge to destroy tactfully placed explosive barrels, use a combination of Barbed barricades and the Forerunner Gravity Gun to make blockades, or use your wits to create a ridiculous Rude Goldberg machine by spawning a variety of objects, such as Gravity Lifts, Explosive Barrels, Vehicles, and much more.
